We all know the concerns raised about access. No appointments available, but also the consequences of non-attendance and cancellations. The PMn have met with Primary Care Foundation to advise regarding an audit tool that will look at dealing with ‘the potentially avoidable appointment audit’. This includes exploring how general practice might be in the future and not just now.
A pilot is shortly going to be underway and the PMn have agreed to work as a specific pilot to assist in the development of this audit tool.
As more information becomes available, we will publish it here.
