Sign occupancy agreement or not…?

Practice’s have been advised not to sign occupancy agreements if they are not happy with the terms.  NHS property services claims to have thousands of pounds worth of unpaid bills from practices.  Even though most practices had paid all fees up to date when PCT’s were subsumed by CCG’s, suddenly rents were inflated significantly and subsequently converted into ‘service charges’, despite nothing changing with regard to the actual occupancy.  Threats of debt collection and suspended services have been part of this ongoing dispute.
