Handing back the contract

When we think of practice closures, we do not think about simply handing back the contract.  Clearly the outgoing partners have no vested interest in keeping the practice open.  Often this can be caused if the practice do not own the premises and therefore do not have a vested interest in any financial sum associated with this.

Or is it simply that there are no GP’s willing to take this work on.  Has flexible working changed the way new GP’s want to work.  Has the job itself become so pressurised that full time working is no longer an option?
