The number of practice managers falls

Over 600 managers have disappeared over the last three years.  Most of this is accounted for because of mergers or closures.  However, many managers are now being redeployed in new management roles as structures of larger organisations change.

Non-clinical primary care staff and management have the same recruitment and retention issues as GP’s and nurses.
