Appointments at a cost of £200m

That’s how much it is estimated to be the cost of “DNA’s” (did not attends) every year to the NHS. We already know about the frustration of patient’s failing to turn up and therefore not being able to re-allocate the appointment.

Perhaps, if we started charging for non-attendance, especially those who are frequent flyers. We all know who they are.

Of course, that will not happen. But something needs to change.
